Consultations can range from standard nail and skin care including reduction of thickened nails, clearance of involuting nails, fungal infections, management of corns and calluses, verrucae, dry and cracked skin on the base of the feet and heels podiatrist and chiropodists are well experienced at dealing with common conditions of the foot and lower leg.
As well as routine treatments, we also have a special interest in biomechanics, functional movement and gait analysis helping you walk better, run beeter move better and more. Key to musculoskeletal assessments is the ability and experience in spotting problems and preventing injuries. We have options to use force plate diagnostics as part of our gait analysis assessment. We able to provide custom orthotics and insoles with comfort and performance in mind from day wear or to suit a range of activities. If you have family or are caring for a person with additional needs and mobility is limited, we can provide home visits in your own home, care home, respite or recovery facility or hospital type environment. This can be a great option for continued treatment post surgery for example after a hip or knee replacement. We are fully qualified and insured member of the Royal College of Podiatrists and Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
